Maintaining a balance between aesthetics, functionality, and naturalness over time is what makes a stabilized surface truly effective.
This is the approach that Green Ways took to a private villa in Sampieri, in the province of Ragusa, just a few meters from the sea: a setting where the landscape is the protagonist and every detail must remain in harmony with the surrounding environment.
Context: livable outdoor spaces even in summer
In a location like Sampieri, characterized by a warm climate, sand, and salt air, outdoor spaces are intensely enjoyed, especially in the summer months.
An increasing number of private clients are choosing professional solutions to improve the comfort of outdoor surfaces, preventing dust buildup and maintaining a tidy, natural appearance. This is a concrete need, which today concerns not only businesses and hospitality facilities, but also luxury private homes, especially near the sea.
The intervention: targeted and non-invasive maintenance
The intervention involved a stabilized surface created years ago using concrete and aggregate, with the aim of enhancing its performance over time.
The maintenance operations were simple and effective:
- localized filling of microcracks with sand
- application of SOIL SEMENT® binder, diluted in water
- multiple sprinkling passes to promote gradual and uniform penetration.
The treatment was carried out quickly, without invasive interventions, in the height of summer and while vegetation was in bloom.
The result: compact, natural and dust-free surface
At the end of the application, the surface appears:
- more cohesive and stable
- uniform in finish
- dust-free
- perfectly integrated into the natural setting.
The colours of the soil remain unchanged, with no chromatic alterations, preserving the original identity of the space.
