Trentino, a parking lot made from local soil

In mountainous rest areas, the challenge is to combine high bearing capacity with attention to the landscape. A robust surface is needed, but one that can blend into the natural surroundings without the visual impact of conventional materials.

For this intervention in Trentino, a selected local inert material was used, stabilized 12 cm thick with SOIL SEMENT® stabilizing binder.
The result is a compact and resistant surface, suitable for vehicular traffic, but visually harmonious with the surrounding environment.
An essential technical solution, where robustness and simplicity blend with the identity of the place.
