Tuff becomes pathway

The project

Tuff bicycle pathway

Creating public paths in sensitive areas requires solutions that ensure functionality, but also respect for the material and the landscape. In this case, the goal was to create a stable and draining bicycle pathway that would also resist the transit of green maintenance vehicles, without altering the natural appearance of the context.

The intervention included stabilization of local tuff to a thickness of 12 cm, using the eco-friendly stabilizer GREEN STAB PAVE® and the eco-comaptible dust- and erosion-proof binder SOIL SEMENT® EF.
The result is a solid, permeable and visually harmonious surface, capable of restoring the strength and warmth of the original material to the path.
A silent technology that accompanies the landscape instead of superimposing itself on it.
